Preparation

Each chooses a monster

Draw your Monster Card and check the hearts and stars

Turn the hearts to full 10

And the stars start at 0

Take the corresponding Monster Figure

The game board lands in the center of the table

Shuffle the cards and place them face down as a pile

Reveal 3 cards

The small green Energy Cubes as a supply right next to it

Each rolls once with the 6 black dice

Whoever shows the most claws starts the game

Goal

1

Be the first to reach 20 stars on your card

Or be the last surviving monster with at least 1 heart

Gameplay

Are you up? Throw all 6 dice

After that, you can reroll any number of dice two more times

Each die counts in the end

Claws? They spell trouble for the others!

In Tokyo? You hit everyone outside

Outside? Only the monster in Tokyo gets it

Hearts heal your monster

But no more than 10? Only if you have a special card

Lightnings mean Energy Cubes

Numbers give you Stars

But only from sets of three

And then? For each additional same number, you get an extra star

Attack on Tokyo

If you're outside and show claws,

the monster in Tokyo takes damage

and can flee or stay

If it flees, you're up and strut into Tokyo

And receive one star

Tokyo Rules

No monster in Tokyo? The last roller must enter

Info? Look at the bottom of the game board

When you enter Tokyo, you receive one star

If you survive a round, you get 2 stars

When you're in Tokyo, you cannot heal with hearts

Shopping for cards - At the end of your turn

With Energy Cubes you can buy cards

The number next to the lightning in the corner shows the costs

Throw the corresponding amount of Energy Cubes into the supply

DISCARD means: use and discard immediately

KEEP for permanent effect

Place the card in front of you

Restocking

When players have bought cards

They draw cards so that again 3 cards are in the display

Big game with 5-6 players:

More than four? Tokyo Bay comes into play

The same rules apply as for Tokyo City

The monsters in Tokyo City and Tokyo Bay work together

The monsters outside fight both monsters on the Tokyo game board

Each claw hits both monsters

As soon as the 5th player is out, Tokyo Bay cannot be refilled anymore
