Setup

Grab a colored pencil

Place the rest of the pencils in the center of the table

Each player takes a sheet from the pad

Leave the square bonus goal cards aside for now

They're not needed for the first game

Curious about the bonus goal cards? Head this way

Find the 11 cards and shuffle them well

5 pink cards for the subway stations at the bottom

And 6 blue cards for the stations at the top

Well mixed, they make a nice stack

Designate a conductor for flipping the cards

The conductor can change every round – as you like.

Draw 4 lines in 4 different colors

Grab points with your lines

Enter your points at the bottom of the sheet after each round

Gameplay

Play in a clockwise direction

Repeat the following steps

Look for the symbol on your sheet in your pen color

Already have a line? Then you have two starting options

Each end of the line can serve as a starting station

Flip a station card

Place it visibly in the center of the table

Everyone draws their lines simultaneously, following these rules...

Start at the end of an existing line

Connect the line to a symbol shown on the card

Your line must be straight

You must not cross another line or station

Double lines? Unfortunately, no!

Each subway station may only be approached once per color

Are there less than 5 pink subway cards revealed?

Then start over: flip the next card!

After the 5th pink card, the round ends

Now count your points for the current color

4 columns on the left for the 4 colors

Pass your colored pencil clockwise

Make the card stack complete again

Start the next round with a new color

After 4 rounds, it's the final stop!

You now have 4 different subway lines on paper

Check your last line and count the following points:

Cross off tourist stations

Number of districts crossed

Count the most stations in one district

Thames crossings count double

Calculate the numbers of this round as follows...

Multiply the first and second number

Then add the third number

The big final tally after 4 rounds

Take the number of the first free tourist station

Sum up the points from the 4 rounds

Stations that have more than one color

Count stations where 2 colors meet

Multiply the number by 2

Count stations with 3 colors times 5

Count the number of Four-Color stations times 9

Standard symbol indicates the next destination

Joker: You can choose a symbol at will

Switch: You may branch off from a station on the line

Draw another card immediately at a switch

The new card shows the next destination

Take a look at these little helpers! They determine where your line goes next.

You'll find them on both the cards and your play sheet.

The symbol on the card sets the direction: That's where your line should go!

With a Joker symbol, you can choose a station however you like.

Grab 2 and place them visibly in the center.

What's in the bonus goal cards?

At least 8 stations with transfer options

So, 8 stations that are painted with at least 2 colors

A station in each of the 13 districts – exploring the city differently!

You must have painted at least one station or more in each box

Visit all 5 tourist stations – sightseeing tour!

Paint each star station with at least one color

In the central district, visit all 9 stations

Color all 9 circles in the central district

Cross the Thames at least 6 times – water never hurt anyone

Each color gets an advantage card

This card always stays with the matching pencil

The color advantage cards – a little bonus for everyone

Once per game, you can use your color card.

Draw an additional line

The destination symbol must be the same as for the first line.

Also applies to a Joker card - 2x the same destination symbol

Pretend your card is a Joker

Pretend the penultimate card is a switch

You may therefore approach the current symbol from any station on the line.

Mark a station on the line

This station then counts double in the round scoring.

But only in that round!
