Setup

Each of you gets 12 cards – but keep them face down for now!

Place the remaining deck of cards face down in the center

next to it, place 1 card face up – this will be your discard pile

Now, each of you arranges your 12 cards in 3 rows x 4 cards face down in front of you. This is your play area

Who starts? For that, each of you turns over 2 random cards from your play area

Add up the numbers and show them

the one with the highest total gets to be the starting player!

Goal

Then, collect the fewest negative points!

The game goes over several rounds and ends when one of you reaches 100 points

A round ends when a player has turned over all their 12 cards

Then everyone gets one last turn

After that: Turn over all face-down cards and add up the numbers

The round is won by the player who has the fewest points in the end

Gameplay

Your turn! Draw the top card from the deck

Either a face-down card from the draw pile or the open card from the discard pile

Face-down: Take a look at it!

You can exchange it with one of your play area cards

any of the 12, open or not, everything is allowed

Or place the drawn card directly on the discard pile, without exchanging.

Then you may turn over a face-down card from your play area.

Face-up: You must exchange this card with one of your play area cards

After your turn, do you have 3 identical open cards in a vertical column? Then off they go to the discard pile

This also applies at the end when evaluating the cards!

If you turn over all cards at the end, you may remove a column with the same numbers.

in clockwise order

If you've turned over the last card, the round comes to an end

All other players get one more turn

After that: Turn over all face-down cards and count the numbers

The totals are entered on the score pad – who has the least?

Whoever turned over all cards first must also show the lowest number of points

Otherwise, their points are doubled – Ouch!

Each new round starts with the winner of the last round

The one with the fewest points – they've got it down!

The game ends as soon as a player has 100 or more points

The winner is the one with the fewest points – Applause!
